Asuka Kirara, who debuted as an AV actress in 2007 and retired in 2020, is currently active as an influencer. She is also in a public relationship with a YouTuber with intellectual disabilities, Hirok, under the premise of marriage. Following the allegations, the agency of THE BOYZ, 100 Entertainment, released a statement acknowledging the seriousness of the situation and confirmed Ju Haknyeon's departure from the group and termination of his contract. 

However, another media outlet later reported that the two had engaged in prostitution, prompting Ju Haknyeon to issue a handwritten letter denying any illegal activities. He stated, "I was indeed present at a drinking gathering with acquaintances on May 30, but I have never engaged in prostitution or any illegal acts as mentioned in the articles or rumors." 

Despite his denial, the allegations continued to escalate, leading to a flood of comments demanding clarification on Asuka Kirara's social media. After three days of silence, she responded directly, asserting, "I have never engaged in sexual acts for money in my life, and this time is no different. The woman who was there seemed to like Haknyeon, and that photo was sold to Bunshun." 

In response to the ongoing speculation, Ju Haknyeon issued another statement, reiterating his innocence and threatening legal action against journalists and media outlets that continue to publish malicious articles. He emphasized, "If there is evidence of prostitution, please reveal it immediately," and clarified that he has not agreed to leave the team or terminate his contract. He accused his agency of misrepresenting the situation. 

100 Entertainment countered, stating, "We have terminated our contract with Ju Haknyeon in accordance with the terms outlined in the contract, and this was a justified and reasonable action. The essence of this matter lies in Ju Haknyeon's attempts to evade responsibility and his repeated distorted claims. If these claims persist, we will take all necessary legal measures to protect our artists and the company, including submitting evidence to the authorities."

The large clock installed at the entrance of the former Seoul Station (now known as 문화역서울 284) has long served as a popular meeting point and a significant landmark. Unveiled in 1925 with the opening of Gyeongseong Station, this clock not only indicated train schedules but also enforced the modern principle of punctuality. 

Over 40 years ago, a news article reported on a case involving a blackmailer who attempted to extort money from a tenant by threatening her while her husband was working as a construction laborer in Saudi Arabia. The blackmailer, aware of her frequent outings, demanded 300,000 won, insisting, "I know your behavior is not good. Bring the money to the clock tower in front of Seoul Station." The clock tower's fame as a landmark made it a fitting choice for the meeting. The blackmailers were apprehended by police after the tenant reported the incident. 

The Seoul Station clock tower has been a favored rendezvous spot, especially in an era before mobile phones and pagers. In the 1970s, newspapers frequently published notices for gatherings, such as alumni meetings, specifying the clock tower as the meeting point. 

The clock was installed exactly 100 years ago, on October 15, 1925, at the entrance of Gyeongseong Station, which featured a total of 65 clocks within its premises. Since train schedules were crucial, all clocks were electric to ensure uniformity. Similar large clocks were also installed at Busan and Daegu stations, with the Gyeongseong Station clock quickly becoming a landmark. 

The first street clock tower was established in 1901 at the two-story headquarters of the Hanseong Electric Company, which had three faces displaying the time. This company, founded by Americans Colbran and Bostwick, received permission from King Gojong in 1898 to install trams, lights, and telephones. The company opened tram lines connecting Seodaemun to Cheongnyangni and Jongno to Yongsan in 1899. Across the street from the Hanseong Electric Company was Bosingak, which rang its bell at noon and midnight until 1909, symbolizing a clash between the past and modernity. 

The Hanseong Electric Company building was later used by various entities, including the Gas Electric Company and the Jongno Police Station, before being sold in 1936. Photographs from February 1936 suggest that the clock tower was removed during renovations. 

In 1925, a large clock with a diameter of one meter was also installed at the Gyeongseong Post Office, located opposite the Shinsegae Department Store. This clock was designed to be visible at night, featuring four 50-watt bulbs. 

The Gyeongseong Bumin Hall, which opened in December 1935, boasted the largest clock in Korea, measuring 4.4 meters in diameter, on its nine-story tower. After the liberation, this clock fell into disrepair and was dismantled. However, on August 28, 2023, the Seoul City Council unveiled a restored three-faced clock with self-illuminating features. Additionally, a 30-meter tall three-faced clock tower was erected at the Gyeongseong Sports Stadium (now Dongdaemun Design Plaza) in 1932. 

In 1921, the Japanese government declared June 10 as 'Time Memorial Day' to promote punctuality and order among the populace, inspired by the historical 'Nugakje' ceremony, where Emperor Tenji installed a water clock in 671 AD. The colonial government in Korea launched campaigns to encourage timekeeping, including events in schools and public institutions. Despite the efforts of Japanese-language newspapers to promote these campaigns, Korean-language publications showed less enthusiasm. The presence of large clocks and clock towers in public buildings reflected the colonial authority's push for modern discipline and punctuality.

서울역 시계탑은 특히 휴대전화와 호출기가 없던 시절에 선호되는 만남의 장소였다. 1970년대에는 신문에서 동창회와 같은 모임 공고를 자주 게재하며 시계탑을 만남의 장소로 지정했다.

1925년에는 신세계 백화점 맞은편 경성우체국에 지름 1미터의 대형 시계가 설치되었다. 이 시계는 밤에도 잘 보이도록 설계되었으며, 50와트 전구 4개가 장착되었다.

1935년 12월에 개관한 경성부민관은 4.4미터 지름의 한국에서 가장 큰 시계를 9층 탑에 자랑하고 있었다. 해방 이후 이 시계는 방치되었고 철거되었다. 그러나 2023년 8월 28일 서울시의회는 자가 조명 기능이 있는 복원된 3면 시계를 공개했다. 또한 1932년 경성스포츠스타디움(현재 동대문디자인플라자)에 30미터 높이의 3면 시계탑이 세워졌다.

On June 20, President Lee Jae-myung attended the 'AI Global Cooperation Business Meeting' at the Ulsan Exhibition and Convention Center, marking his first visit to an industrial site since taking office. SK Group Chairman Chey Tae-won entered the venue alongside President Lee, where he presented five key proposals related to artificial intelligence (AI). President Lee nodded in agreement, stating, 'I share the same thoughts.' 

In his opening remarks, President Lee emphasized, 'The greatness of our people is reflected in the greatness of our entrepreneurs.' He acknowledged Chairman Chey during his speech, prompting Chey to bow in respect. 

The Ulsan AI Data Center, a collaboration between SK Group and Amazon Web Services (AWS), is set to be established in the Ulsan Mipo National Industrial Complex. It will feature approximately 60,000 GPUs (graphics processing units), making it the largest AI data center currently under development in South Korea. 

During the meeting, Chairman Chey outlined five proposals aimed at fostering growth in the AI market, including the expansion of the AI one-stop voucher program, national talent development for AI, the establishment of an AI startup fund, government-led AI market formation, and the designation of Ulsan as an AI special zone. He expressed confidence that the AI startup fund could nurture 20,000 AI startups within the next five years and stressed the importance of making AI education mandatory. 

President Lee echoed Chey's sentiments, particularly regarding education, and requested that Kim Yong-beom, the head of the Presidential Policy Office, take note of the suggestions. He acknowledged the challenges of altering the education curriculum but insisted it should be considered, suggesting that AI could be included as a mandatory subject for elementary students. When Chey mentioned that the startup fund should be around 10 trillion won, President Lee responded, 'It's not impossible. If we want to create what hasn't been done before, the government must also bear a significant burden. I don't think it's an insurmountable task.' 

In response to Chey's suggestion for government departments to become clients for AI applications, President Lee agreed on the importance of the government aiding in the formation of the AI market, stating that sharing the risk with companies in advanced industries might be more beneficial than merely providing financial support. 

The meeting was attended by numerous business leaders, including Prasad Kalyanaraman, AWS's Infrastructure Head, Kakao CEO Jeong Shin-a, Samsung SDS President Lee Joon-hee, and Naver Cloud CEO Kim Yoo-won. 

Following the launch ceremony for the Ulsan AI Data Center, President Lee visited a nearby market, where he interacted with local citizens. According to spokesperson Kang Yoo-jung, one citizen expressed their frustrations regarding administrative inconveniences, shedding tears, while President Lee assured them he would look into their concerns. Another citizen thanked him for the rising stock prices, to which President Lee replied, 'Yes, the stock prices have indeed gone up.'
