BTS's Jungkook Faces Intrusion Attempt by Fan Just After Military Discharge

Jungkook (정국) of BTS (방탄소년단) has returned to his fans after completing 1 year and 6 months of military service, but he faced an alarming incident just a day after his discharge. On June 12, the Yongsan Police in Seoul reported that a Chinese woman in her 30s, identified as A, was arrested for attempting to break into Jungkook's home by repeatedly entering the access code to his front door. During the investigation, A stated that she had come to South Korea to see Jungkook in person after his military service.
This is not the first time Jungkook has dealt with invasive fans. Prior to his enlistment, during a live broadcast in 2023, he responded to fans expressing a desire to drink with him by saying, "Should I give you my address? Don’t you already know it? It’s all over the internet. Just search for it on YouTube." This indicated that his home address had been widely exposed among fans, leading to significant privacy concerns.
In May of the same year, while on tour in Las Vegas, Jungkook experienced harassment when he received multiple calls on the hotel phone in his room. He expressed his discomfort, saying, "I don’t like the sound of this phone ringing. It’s scary and uncomfortable."
Previously, he had also faced food delivery harassment at his home address. Jungkook warned, "Please don’t send food to my house. I won’t eat it even if you do. I ask you to stop. If you send it again, I will take action by checking the order number on the receipt you sent."
Despite these ongoing invasions of his privacy, Jungkook has resigned himself to the situation, stating, "I think of it as my fate and just focus on what’s in front of me."
Jungkook was discharged from the Army's 5th Infantry Division's Artillery Brigade on June 11, alongside fellow member Jimin (지민).
