BTS's Jungkook Faces Disturbing Incident with Stalker After Military Service

Jungkook (정국) of BTS (방탄소년단) has once again fallen victim to the reckless actions of a stalker following his return from military service. Fans are expressing their concerns for his safety, urging that "we must protect Jungkook."
On June 12, the Yongsan Police in Seoul reported the arrest of a 30-year-old Chinese woman, identified as A, who attempted to unlawfully enter Jungkook's residence around 11:20 PM the previous night. She was apprehended while repeatedly entering the front door code and reportedly stated during questioning that she had come to Korea to see Jungkook after his discharge.
In a previous live broadcast, Jungkook had mentioned, "You all know my home address, right? If you search it on YouTube, it will come up," indicating that his personal information had already been shared among some stalkers.
Despite his warnings, the harassment continues. Last May, while on tour in Las Vegas, Jungkook experienced incessant phone calls at his hotel, expressing his fear and discomfort, stating, "I don’t like the sound of this phone ringing. It’s scary and uncomfortable." He even faced the bizarre situation of food being delivered to his home, to which he responded, "I won’t eat it even if you send it. I will check the receipts and take action."
The invasion of his privacy persists. Jungkook has resigned himself to the situation, saying, "I now think of it as my fate and will keep moving forward," but the recent intrusion attempt right after his discharge is shocking for both him and his fans.
Fans are voicing their anger and concern on social media and fan communities, with comments like, "It’s so unfortunate that this happened on his first day back," and "Stalkers are not fans. Please protect Jungkook’s safety." Many worry that if such incidents continue, the members may hesitate to make public appearances again.
Jungkook completed his mandatory military service on June 11 and, having faced similar threats from stalkers before his enlistment, is now confronting these issues again, raising deep concerns among fans. For Jungkook and the other members to resume their activities freely, a 'stalker alert' is urgently needed.
