BTS's Jin Makes Waves on UK Official Charts with Solo Track

Jin of BTS (방탄소년단) has made his mark on the UK Official Charts with his solo track. The song 'Close to You,' part of the OST for the tvN drama 'Ask the Stars' (별들에게 물어봐), debuted at 20th place on the Official Singles Download Chart and 22nd on the Official Singles Sales Chart as of January 31, 2025. Released on January 26, the track showcases Jin's clear and sweet vocals harmonizing beautifully with its spacious instrumental melodies.
Meanwhile, Jimin's (지민) title track 'Who' from his second solo album 'MUSE' has secured the 21st position on the UK Official Singles Chart, marking its 22nd week on the chart. This achievement not only sets a new personal record for Jimin but also makes it the longest-charting K-pop solo song since the chart's revamp in 2014. 'Who' is also performing well on the Audio Streaming (27th) and Single Streaming (30th) charts.
Jungkook's (정국) contribution to the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar™ official soundtrack, 'Dreamers,' is currently ranked 65th on the Video Streaming chart and holds the 4th spot on YouTube's Global Daily Music Video Chart.
BTS's music continues to resonate globally, especially on Spotify. Jimin's 'Who' and Jin's title track 'Running Wild' from his solo album 'Happy' have climbed to 10th and 50th places, respectively, on the Weekly Top Songs Global chart for the period of January 24-30, 2025. Jungkook's first solo single 'Seven (feat. Latto)' has charted for 81 weeks, landing at 78th place. Additionally, the duet 'Winter Ahead (with PARK HYO SHIN)' by V (뷔) and Park Hyo Shin, released in November last year, continues to be popular, ranking 87th.
The members' solo projects are also making waves on the Weekly Top Albums Global chart, with Jimin's 'MUSE' at 17th, Jungkook's first solo album 'GOLDEN' at 47th, and Jin's 'Happy - :') (Remixes)' at 100th. Furthermore, BTS's anthology album 'Proof' is at 42nd, while the repackaged album 'LOVE YOURSELF 結 'Answer'' from 2018 holds the 175th position.
