BTS's Jin Enters Billboard Hot 100 at No. 53 with 'Running Wild'

Jin of BTS (방탄소년단) has made his mark on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart with his solo track. According to a chart announcement made by Billboard on their official social media on November 26 (KST), Jin's title song 'Running Wild' from his solo album 'Happy (해피)' debuted at No. 53 on the Hot 100 for the week of November 30.
This marks Jin's second entry on the Hot 100 as a solo artist, following his first single 'The Astronaut (디 애스트로넛)', which peaked at No. 51 in 2022.
With this achievement, Jin has successfully showcased his talent across both major Billboard charts. Additionally, 'Running Wild' is featured on the album 'Happy', which is projected to debut at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 chart. Given that the year-end season is seeing a surge in the Carol genre, Jin's consistent popularity is particularly noteworthy.
'Running Wild' has also performed well on global charts, ranking No. 4 on the Global (excluding U.S.) chart and No. 5 on the Global 200.
Released on November 15, 'Running Wild' is a pop-rock track rooted in British rock, produced by Gary Barlow of the renowned British pop band Take That. The song conveys a bright and warm message about running towards hope with all one's might.
Upon its release, 'Running Wild' quickly climbed the charts, reaching No. 8 on Spotify's Daily Top Songs Global and No. 10 on the Weekly Top Songs Global, as well as No. 25 on the UK Official Singles Chart.
Later today at 2 PM, Jin will unveil his new song 'Until I Reach You (너에게 닿을 때까지)', featuring Taka, the vocalist of the Japanese band ONE OK ROCK, who contributed to the album's tracks. This collaboration promises to blend Jin's captivating voice with Taka's powerful vocals, offering a unique perspective on deep feelings of love.
