BTS's Jin Dominates US Billboard Charts with 'Happy'

Jin of BTS (방탄소년단) has made a significant impact on the US Billboard charts with his debut solo album, 'Happy'. According to the latest Billboard chart released on November 26, 2024, Jin's album has secured the 4th position on the main album chart, the Billboard 200. Additionally, 'Happy' reached 2nd place on the World Albums chart and 3rd on the Top Album Sales chart.

The title track, 'Running Wild', debuted at 53 on the Billboard Hot 100. It also ranked 4th on the Global (excluding the US) chart and 5th on the Global 200, while achieving the top spot on the Digital Song Sales chart.

Other tracks from the album have also performed well on various charts. The pre-released song 'I'll Be There' climbed 43 spots to reach 29 on the Global (excluding the US) chart. Other tracks such as 'Heart on the Window (with Wendy)', 'Another Level', 'Until I Reach You', and 'In My Feelings' entered the chart at 99, 142, 158, and 172, respectively.

In a remarkable achievement, all five top spots on the World Digital Song Sales chart were occupied by Jin's new songs, with 'Heart on the Window (with Wendy)' taking the number one position, followed by 'Another Level', 'In My Feelings', 'Until I Reach You', and 'I'll Be There'. This accomplishment places Jin among the ranks of RM, Suga, and J-Hope as one of the few artists to have all top five positions on this chart.

Meanwhile, fellow BTS members Jimin and Jungkook continue to enjoy success. Jimin's track 'Who' reached 45 on the Billboard Hot 100, and his second solo album is currently at 158 on the Billboard 200, marking 18 consecutive weeks on the chart. 'Who' also placed 16th on the Global (excluding the US) chart, 21st on the Global 200, and 33rd on the Streaming Songs chart. His album 'MUSE' remains strong at 5th on the World Albums chart.

Jungkook's first solo single 'Seven (feat. Latto)' and the title track 'Standing Next to You' from his solo album 'GOLDEN' ranked 78 and 196 on the Global (excluding the US) chart, respectively. Notably, 'Seven (feat. Latto)' has maintained its position on the Global 200 for 71 weeks, setting a record for the longest run by a K-pop solo artist on this chart.

Additionally, as of November 27, the Japan Record Association reported that Jungkook's title track 'Standing Next to You' from his solo album 'GOLDEN' has surpassed 50 million streams as of October, earning a 'Gold' certification in the streaming category.
