BTS's Jin Breaks into Billboard Hot 100 with 'Running Wild'

Jin of BTS (방탄소년단) has made a notable entry into the Billboard Hot 100 chart with his latest solo track. According to a post on Billboard's official social media on November 26 (KST), Jin's title song 'Running Wild' from his solo album 'Happy' has debuted at number 53 on the Hot 100 for the week of November 30.

This marks Jin's second entry on the Hot 100 as a solo artist, following his first single 'The Astronaut,' which peaked at number 51 in 2022. With this achievement, Jin has successfully showcased his talent across both of Billboard's main charts. Additionally, the album 'Happy,' which features 'Running Wild,' is projected to debut at number 4 on the Billboard 200 chart. Given that the holiday season often sees a surge in the popularity of the Carol genre, Jin's enduring appeal is particularly noteworthy.

'Running Wild' has also performed well on other Billboard charts, ranking 4th on the 'Global (Excl. U.S.)' chart and 5th on the 'Global 200' chart.

Released on November 15, 'Running Wild' is a pop rock track rooted in British rock, characterized by its new wave sound. The song conveys a bright and warm message about running towards hope with all one's might. Following its release, it achieved career highs for Jin on major streaming platforms, including 8th on Spotify's 'Daily Top Songs Global' and 10th on the 'Weekly Top Songs Global,' as well as 25th on the UK Official Singles Chart.

In addition, Jin is set to release a new song titled '네게 닿을 때까지 (feat. Taka)' today at 2 PM. This track features Taka, the vocalist of the Japanese band ONE OK ROCK (원 오크 록), who collaborated on the album of the same name.
