BTS's Jin Achieves Career High on Billboard with 'Echo'

Jin of BTS (방탄소년단) has made a significant mark as a solo artist by reaching a career high on the Billboard charts. According to a chart preview released by Billboard on May 26 (KST), Jin's second mini-album, 'Echo', has debuted at number 3 on the Billboard 200 for the week of May 31. This achievement marks the highest position for Jin's solo work on this chart, surpassing his previous album 'Happy', which peaked at number 4 in November 2024.
The album 'Echo' explores the various moments of life, reflecting them as different forms of 'echo'. Jin connects with fans by sharing relatable stories and emotions through his unique perspective.
Featuring a total of 7 tracks, 'Echo' spans multiple genres including pop-punk, country rock, Brit rock, J-rock, alternative rock, and ballad pop, showcasing Jin's delicate emotional expression and vocal range that expands his musical universe.
Previously, 'Echo' entered the UK Official Albums Chart at number 63 for the week of May 23-29, marking the first time Jin's solo work has appeared on both the Billboard 200 and the UK Official Albums Chart, which are considered the two major music charts worldwide.
The title track 'Don't Say You Love Me' has also gained immense popularity, climbing to number 2 on Spotify's Daily Top Songs Global chart as of May 24. The song is ranked 58 on the UK Official Singles Chart and has topped three sub-charts: Single Downloads, Single Sales, and Physical Singles.
Jin is set to hold his first solo fan concert tour, '#RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR', on June 28-29 at the Goyang Gymnasium in Ilsan, South Korea. Following this, he will perform 18 shows across 9 cities, including Chiba and Osaka in Japan, Anaheim, Dallas, Tampa, Newark in the USA, London in the UK, and Amsterdam in the Netherlands, connecting with fans worldwide.
BTS has previously topped the Billboard 200 with a total of 6 albums, including 'LOVE YOURSELF 轉 'Tear'', 'LOVE YOURSELF 結 'Answer'', 'MAP OF THE SOUL: PERSONA', 'MAP OF THE SOUL: 7', 'BE', and 'Proof'.
