BTS's Jimin Expresses Gratitude for MAMA Award While Serving in the Military

Jimin of BTS (방탄소년단) shared his heartfelt emotions after winning a prestigious award at the '2024 MAMA' while currently serving in the military. On the evening of November 23, he took to Weverse to express his thoughts on receiving the award.

He stated, "I’m here to share the wonderful news with ARMY. I’m a soldier, and to receive such an award is beyond my imagination. I am overwhelmed with gratitude."

Jimin continued, "Lately, I’ve been having many conversations with Jungkook (정국) about what songs we should perform and what kind of stages we should present after my discharge. I’ve been excitedly thinking about it, and now, receiving such a significant award has left me speechless."

He added, "Thank you so much, everyone. If the day comes when I can repay you, the best gift would be to show you an amazing performance. It goes without saying, but I will grow even more and show you a better version of myself, so please look forward to it. I love you, ARMY."

Jimin, who enlisted in December last year, has gained global popularity with his second solo album 'MUSE' (뮤즈) and its title track 'Who' (후). His achievements were recognized at the '2024 MAMA AWARDS' held on November 22 at the Kyocera Dome in Osaka, where he won two awards: 'Visa Fans' Choice of the Year' and 'Fans' Choice Male.'
