BTS's J-Hope Takes the World by Storm with 'MONA LISA'

The world is captivated by 'MONA LISA'. J-Hope of BTS (방탄소년단) released his digital single 'MONA LISA' on March 21, and by 8 AM on March 22, it had topped the iTunes 'Top Songs' chart in 67 countries and regions, including Brazil, France, and Japan. The track also debuted at number one on both the 'Worldwide iTunes Songs' and 'European iTunes Songs' charts.
The music video for 'MONA LISA' has also won over global fans, showcasing J-Hope's 'world-class' performance. It has made its way into the 'Top 10' of YouTube's 'Trending Videos' chart in 22 countries, including Brazil, the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Australia.
On March 21 at 9 PM, J-Hope shared behind-the-scenes footage of the recording process for his digital singles 'Sweet Dreams (feat. Miguel)' and 'MONA LISA' on BTS's YouTube channel. He traveled to the United States for music production, stating, "My goal is clear. The first thing is to create music that the public enjoys."
He collaborated with numerous local producers, listening to their feedback to refine his songs. J-Hope expressed, "If the people who like me enjoy my music, that’s everything to me." He also shared his deep affection for music and performance, often pondering, "How am I performing on stage? How am I expressing myself?"
BTS continues to make waves on Spotify, with multiple tracks charting on the 'Weekly Top Songs Global' list for the period of March 14-20. Jimin's solo track 'Who' from his second album 'MUSE' reached 18th place, while J-Hope's 'Sweet Dreams (feat. Miguel)' landed at 84th. Jungkook's first solo single 'Seven (feat. Latto)' was at 104th, Jin's title track 'Running Wild' from his solo album 'Happy' was at 135th, and the duet 'Winter Ahead (with PARK HYO SHIN)' by V and Park Hyo Shin was at 161st.
Their success continued on the 'Weekly Top Albums Global' chart, with Jimin's 'MUSE' at 30th, Jungkook's solo album 'GOLDEN' at 56th, and Jin's 'Happy - :') (Remixes)' at 198th. Additionally, BTS's anthology album 'Proof', released in June 2022, and the repackaged album 'LOVE YOURSELF 結 'Answer'', released in 2018, ranked at 49th and 181st, respectively.
