BTS's J-Hope Shares Heartfelt New Year Message with Fans
On January 5, 2025, J-Hope of BTS (방탄소년단) took to the fan community platform Weverse to share an uplifting New Year message with his fans. He began by asking, "How was your 2024?" reflecting on his own mixed emotions throughout the year. J-Hope expressed his joy at the dawn of his military discharge, yet also shared feelings of uncertainty about the months leading up to it. He described the rollercoaster of emotions he experienced, from excitement to anxiety about post-discharge plans, ultimately concluding that he felt immense joy upon completing his service.
He acknowledged that everyone has their own unique experiences of joy and sorrow, and he encouraged fans to take a moment to comfort themselves as they reflect on the past year. J-Hope expressed his hope that 2025 would be a year of blossoming beauty for everyone, emphasizing its significance for him personally.
He promised fans that he would showcase many new things in the coming year, aiming for a more mature approach that aligns with his identity and satisfies everyone. J-Hope reminded fans that health should be a priority as they embark on new experiences together. He concluded his message with heartfelt wishes for good fortune and health in 2025, encouraging his fans, known as ARMY, to stay strong and expressing his love for them.
J-Hope completed his military service on October 17, 2024, at the Army's 36th Infantry Division in Wonju, Gangwon Province. He has since been active, wrapping up filming for the MBC variety show 'I Live Alone' and recently donating 100 million KRW to the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association for victims of the Jeju Air tragedy, bringing his total personal donations to 1.1 billion KRW.
