BTS's J-Hope Concludes Solo Tour with Spectacular Finale Concert

BTS (방탄소년단) has made a triumphant return as J-Hope (제이홉) celebrated the finale of his solo tour with a spectacular concert alongside his fellow members, marking not just an end but a new beginning. On June 13 at 7 PM, the Goyang Sports Complex in Ilsan hosted the first day of J-Hope's world tour encore concert, 'HOPE ON THE STAGE FANAL.' Over the course of two days, the concert attracted a total of 54,000 fans (27,000 per show), showcasing J-Hope's immense popularity as tickets sold out immediately upon release.

The concert coincided with the '2025 BTS Festa,' an offline event celebrating the 12th anniversary of BTS, drawing fans to enjoy music and the vibrant atmosphere outside the venue. J-Hope kicked off his tour in February at the KSPO DOME in Seoul, performing 31 shows across 15 cities in North America and Asia, reaching approximately 470,000 fans. Notably, he became the first K-pop solo artist to perform at the BMO Stadium in Los Angeles, leaving a significant mark in the industry. With this Goyang concert, J-Hope concluded his three-month tour, having been deeply involved in the planning, choreography, costumes, and props for the finale.

The title 'HOPE ON THE STAGE' symbolizes J-Hope's presence on stage while conveying a message of hope, wishes, and dreams coming to life. The concert was divided into five themes: 'Ambition,' 'Dream,' 'Expectation,' 'Fantasy,' and 'Wish,' reflecting J-Hope's musical journey.

The show opened with tracks from his first solo album, 'Jack In The Box,' including 'What if…,' 'Pandora’s Box,' 'Arson,' 'STOP,' and 'MORE,' eliciting enthusiastic cheers from fans. J-Hope remarked, "It’s drizzling a bit, but I think it will make the concert even more fun. You won’t be able to tell if it’s sweat or rain with how much we’ll enjoy ourselves!"

He also performed songs from his special album 'HOPE ON THE STREET VOL.1' and his first mixtape 'Hope World,' weaving a musical narrative throughout the performance. Additionally, he premiered his third solo single, 'Killin' It Girl,' released earlier that day, describing it as a straightforward track showcasing his sexy side. He expressed his gratitude for the song's release on such a meaningful day.

The concert featured a medley of BTS songs, including 'Trivia 起: Just Dance,' 'MIC DROP,' 'Baepsae,' 'Disease,' and 'Outro: Ego,' with fans energetically participating. Despite some rain, the energy in the venue was so intense that it seemed to evaporate the light drizzle. J-Hope humorously noted, "I consider this kind of rain romantic. It’s just enough to enjoy ourselves!" He was visibly moved by the fans' support, expressing joy instead of tears.

This concert was particularly special as it took place on the 12th anniversary of BTS's debut. J-Hope shared, "It’s an honor to hold the final concert on such a significant day, June 13." With members RM (알엠), V (뷔), Jimin (지민), and Jungkook (정국) recently discharged from military service, fans were eager to see if the other members would attend. In a delightful surprise, Jungkook and Jin (진) made special appearances, enhancing the memorable experience.

During J-Hope's performance of 'i wonder...,' Jungkook greeted fans with a salute and expressed how much he missed them. He performed his solo single 'Seven,' with J-Hope featuring on the track, adding to the special moment. Jin also surprised the audience by joining for the encore, performing 'Spring Day' and sharing his excitement about being on stage again.

Although Jungkook and Jin were the only official guests, all BTS members were present in the audience. J-Hope acknowledged their presence during his closing remarks, and the screen displayed the members watching from the crowd, creating a heartwarming moment for fans. J-Hope expressed his love for the members, stating, "They are precious to me, and without them, I wouldn’t be here, and without you, there wouldn’t be our team."

While this concert marked the end of J-Hope's solo tour, it also signaled a new beginning for the full return of BTS. J-Hope encouraged fans, saying, "The members have all completed their military service and are back. We have so much to show you, so please look forward to it!" The encore concert will conclude on June 14.
