BTS Members' Solo Works Continue to Climb Global Music Charts in 2025

As the new year unfolds, the solo projects of BTS (방탄소년단) members are making waves on global music charts. On January 7, Billboard announced that J-Hope's track "Blue Side (Outro)" from his 2018 mixtape "Hope World" has re-entered the charts, landing at 3rd place on the 'World Digital Song Sales' and 13th on the 'Digital Song Sales.' This resurgence is seen as a reflection of the anticipation surrounding J-Hope's upcoming activities in 2025.

Meanwhile, Jimin's title track "Who" from his second solo album "MUSE" has impressively re-entered the Billboard Hot 100 at 24th place, showcasing its strong momentum. The album itself has maintained a position at 106th on the Billboard 200. Jimin's success extends to other charts as well, with "Who" reaching 9th on the 'Global (excluding U.S.)' and 10th on the 'Global 200,' marking significant climbs of 35 and 36 spots respectively. "MUSE" is currently holding the 2nd position on the 'World Albums' chart, indicating its long-term popularity.

V's winter songs are also enjoying steady popularity at the start of the year. His duet with Park Hyo Shin, "Winter Ahead (with PARK HYO SHIN)," has reached 46th on the 'Global (excluding U.S.)' and 82nd on the 'Global 200,' climbing 17 and 23 spots respectively.

Jin's solo album "Happy" is performing well on the album charts, securing 13th on the 'World Albums' and 42nd on the 'Top Current Album Sales.' The title track "Running Wild" has jumped 45 spots to 85th on the 'Global (excluding U.S.)' and re-entered the 'Global 200' at 172nd. Jungkook's first solo single "Seven (feat. Latto)" continues to be a steady hit, moving up from 125th to 61st on the 'Global (excluding U.S.)' and re-entering the 'Global 200' at 97th.

The popularity of BTS members is also evident on the UK Official Chart, where Jimin's "Who" re-entered at 64th place, marking its 18th week on the chart. This achievement sets a record for the longest-charting K-pop solo song since the chart's revamp in 2014. Additionally, "Who" has made its mark on the 'Audio Streaming' (30th) and 'Streaming' (34th) charts.

J-Hope's "Blue Side (Outro)" has also made its debut on the Official Chart, landing at 16th for 'Single Downloads' and 20th for 'Single Sales.' V's collaboration with Bing Crosby on the carol "White Christmas (with V of BTS)" has impressively climbed 78 spots to 13th in 'Single Sales' and re-entered 'Single Downloads' at 11th.

In other news, the music video for "Dope (쩔어)," a track from BTS's third mini-album "The Most Beautiful Moment in Life, Pt. 1," released in April 2015, surpassed 800 million views on YouTube as of January 1. This count is based solely on the views from the 1theK YouTube account, and when combined with views from the HYBE Labels official account, it approaches a total of 1 billion views. This milestone marks BTS's 9th music video to surpass 800 million views.
