BTS Members Jimin and Jungkook Nominated at 2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards

Members of BTS (방탄소년단), Jimin (지민) and Jungkook (정국), have received multiple nominations at the upcoming 2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards. On January 22, the award show announced its nominees for the year. Jimin is nominated for 'K-pop Artist Of The Year' and his song 'Who' is in the running for both 'Best Lyrics' and 'K-pop Song Of The Year'. Additionally, the travel series 'Is This Right?!' (이게 맞아?!) featuring Jimin and Jungkook is nominated for 'Favorite On Screen', bringing Jimin's total nominations to four. This marks the highest number of nominations for a K-pop solo artist this year and ties the record for the most nominations for a Korean solo artist in the history of the awards, previously set by Jungkook in 2024. Notably, Jimin is the first Korean artist to be nominated in the 'Best Lyrics' category, competing against artists like Sabrina Carpenter, Billie Eilish, and Kendrick Lamar.
The iHeartRadio Music Awards, hosted by the American online radio platform iHeartRadio since 2014, honors the most played artists and songs on its platform. The ceremony will take place on March 17 in Los Angeles and will be broadcast live on the FOX network.
'Who' is the title track from Jimin's second solo album 'MUSE', released in July 2024. The song continues to perform well on the Billboard Hot 100, Global 200, and Global (excluding the U.S.) charts, as well as maintaining its popularity on the UK Official Singles Chart. Fans are eager to see if Jimin can secure a trophy based on his impressive achievements since 2024.
'Is This Right?!' (이게 맞아?!) is a Disney+ original series that captures the unforgettable memories of Jimin and Jungkook's trip before their military enlistment. This year's 'Favorite On Screen' category also features documentaries about renowned musicians like Elton John, Bon Jovi, and Lady Gaga.
BTS has been a dominant force at the iHeartRadio Music Awards, winning 'Best Boy Band' and 'Best Fan Army' in 2018 and continuing to take home trophies for seven consecutive years. Last year, they showcased their global popularity not only as a group but also through the individual achievements of their members.
