BTS Continues Billboard Success Despite Military Hiatus

BTS (방탄소년단) is maintaining its impressive presence on the Billboard charts even during its members' military service. According to the latest Billboard chart released on November 19, 2024, Jin's solo album 'Happy' features the pre-release track 'I’ll Be There,' which has charted for three consecutive weeks, reaching 72nd on the 'Global (Excl. U.S.)' chart and 123rd on the 'Global 200.'
Jimin's second solo album 'MUSE' has also made waves, debuting at 152nd on the main Billboard album chart, 'Billboard 200.' The title track 'Who' has secured the 45th position on the 'Hot 100,' marking 17 weeks on the chart. Additionally, 'Who' ranks 11th on the 'Global (Excl. U.S.)' chart, 13th on the 'Global 200,' and 32nd on the 'Streaming Songs' chart. 'MUSE' continues to perform well, holding the 5th spot on the 'World Albums' chart.
Jungkook (정국) has also demonstrated his enduring popularity this week. His first solo single 'Seven (feat. Latto)' and the title track 'Standing Next to You' from his solo album 'GOLDEN' are positioned at 64th and 140th on the 'Global (Excl. U.S.)' chart, respectively. 'Seven (feat. Latto)' remains on the 'Global 200' at 110th.
The BTS anthology album 'Proof' has impressively maintained its place in the top 10 of the 'World Albums' chart for 12 consecutive weeks, continuing to show strong performance even in its 127th week on the charts.
Jin's recent solo album 'Happy,' released on November 15, has achieved remarkable success, selling 845,690 copies on its first day according to the Hanteo chart, securing the top spot on the daily album chart. This figure surpasses the first-week sales of his previous release 'The Astronaut,' which sold 770,126 copies, further highlighting Jin's growing popularity. Additionally, 'Happy' has topped the latest Oricon weekly digital album ranking in Japan for the period of November 11-17.
