BTS Announces Spring 2026 Comeback and World Tour Plans

BTS (방탄소년단) has officially announced their return with a new group album set to release in the spring of 2026. During a live broadcast on the global fan platform Weverse on July 1, the group shared, "We will be working closely together starting in July to prepare for the album. Since it's a group album, all members' thoughts will be included. We plan to return to our roots and create something special." They also revealed plans for a world tour alongside the new album, stating, "We will be visiting various places around the world, so please look forward to it."
The members will sequentially travel to the United States in July to begin music production and concert preparations. This marks their first world tour since the conclusion of the 'BTS PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE' tour in 2022, which attracted around 4 million fans through in-person performances, online live streaming, and live viewing events.
Additionally, BTS discussed their upcoming activities for the second half of the year, reflecting on Jin's fan concert tour '#RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR' that began on June 28-29 in Goyang. The members expressed their enjoyment of the concert, praising Jin's piano skills and the unique performance he delivered. J-Hope, who recently wrapped up his 'j-hope Tour: HOPE ON THE STAGE,' is set to headline at Lollapalooza Berlin on July 12-13, with the members expressing their excitement for his performance.
This live broadcast was BTS's first group session since September 2022 and garnered significant attention, with over 7.3 million views during the 30-minute stream.
