BTS Announces Full Group Comeback with New Album and World Tour in Spring 2026

The globally renowned K-pop group BTS (방탄소년단) has officially announced their plans for a full group comeback, set to take place in the spring of 2026. During a live broadcast on the fan platform Weverse on July 1, the seven members revealed their exciting plans following their military service completion.
This marks the first time the group will be reuniting since their last full group album and concert activities, which included the anthology album 'Proof' (프루프) and the concert 'Yet to Come in Busan' (옛 투 컴 인 부산) in 2022. The Weverse live session was their first since September 2022 and lasted approximately 30 minutes.
Leader RM stated, "Starting in July, we will gather to focus on music production together. A group album is expected to be released in the spring of next year, with the recording taking place in the United States." He added, "Naturally, we will also embark on a world tour starting next spring, so please look forward to us visiting various places around the globe. We will communicate as much as possible through Weverse and social media, so just give us a little time to show you everything at once."
Jimin mentioned, "Fans might think something will come out immediately after our discharge, but we can't prepare while in the military. We need some time to get ready, but we will work hard to ensure the wait isn't too long." Jin, who will be participating in the world tour, expressed, "I can manage to travel between countries while participating, and I will be involved as well." Jungkook added, "This time, we are returning to our original intentions." Suga remarked, "I can't predict how long the album preparation will take, and this is our first time trying it this way, so we will just see how it goes," while J-Hope expressed his excitement, saying, "I am really looking forward to it."
The members began their military service in December 2022, starting with Jin, and completed their duties with Suga's discharge on June 21, 2025. Some individual activities for members are also planned for the second half of this year. J-Hope is set to perform at the Lollapalooza Berlin music festival on July 12-13, while Jin will hold a fan concert world tour in July and August.
Since their debut in June 2013, BTS has achieved remarkable success, including six number-one albums on the Billboard 200 and six number-one singles on the Billboard Hot 100.
