Brown Eyed Soul to Make Long-Awaited Comeback After Six Years

The soulful vocal group Brown Eyed Soul (브라운아이드소울), consisting of members Jung Yeop (정엽), Naul (나얼), and Young Joon (영준), is set to return this year after a six-year hiatus. Their agency, Long Play Music (롱플레이뮤직), announced on July 23, 2025, that the group plans to release a new album by September at the latest, with most of the recording already completed. Alongside the album, they are also preparing for a concert, marking their first live performance in six years.
Brown Eyed Soul previously showcased a rich variety of Black music genres in their 2019 half album, It’s Soul Right (It’ Soul Right), which included influences from 1960s Motown, 1970s Blaxploitation, funky blue-eyed soul, and contemporary R&B.
Despite limited activities, the group has maintained a loyal fanbase through their album releases and performances. Known for their 'premium live' shows, they have consistently captivated audiences with their harmonious performances and nostalgic hits. Fans are eagerly anticipating what new music and stage experiences Brown Eyed Soul will bring upon their return.
