BOYNEXTDOOR Kicks Off Their First Solo Tour in Incheon

BOYNEXTDOOR (성호, 리우, 명재현, 태산, 이한, 운학) successfully launched their first solo tour, 'BOYNEXTDOOR TOUR 'KNOCK ON Vol.1' IN INCHEON', at the Inspire Arena in Incheon on December 14-15. This concert marked the group's first standalone performance since their debut last year, and all tickets, including those with limited views, sold out quickly, showcasing the high demand.

The concert opened with the title track 'Earth, Wind & Fire' from their second mini-album 'HOW?'. The group performed a variety of songs, including previous title tracks like '돌아버리겠다', '뭣 같아', 'One and Only', 'Nice Guy', and 'Serenade', as well as tracks like '부모님 관람불가', 'OUR' (오유알), 'Call Me', 'Crying', and '돌멩이'. The members explained that they aimed to present their original sound as closely as possible, stating, "Since this is our first concert, we wanted to showcase our originality and convey the emotions that our fans, known as ONEDOOR, felt when they first heard our music."

Expressing their excitement, BOYNEXTDOOR said, "We can't express how long we've waited for this moment. Our long-anticipated first solo tour has finally begun. Thank you for filling this space with your voices!" The six members shared that they carefully chose the name 'KNOCK ON' to symbolize their meeting with fans, referring to the venue as a 'paradise'.

The performances demonstrated why BOYNEXTDOOR is considered a rising star in live entertainment. Their powerful live vocals and well-coordinated choreography energized the audience. They engaged fans by encouraging sing-alongs and even held an impromptu a cappella session, showcasing their vocal talents.

The group moved around the stage with ease, even descending into the audience during 'Amnesia', which received an enthusiastic response. Each song, from the upbeat 'l i f e i s c o o l' and '돌아버리겠다' to the emotional 'Dear. My Darling' and 'Crying', was performed with a fitting atmosphere. The VCR and stage design for 'Call Me' drew gasps from the crowd. Additionally, their performance of 'ABCDLOVE' featuring their newly announced official character '쁘넥도' was met with cheers, with fans commenting on how cute the members looked.

Towards the end of the concert, BOYNEXTDOOR surprised the audience with a teaser for their January comeback. They stated, "The comeback is 100% a decision made by the members. We are working hard to ensure that we return in January for ONEDOOR and everyone else to enjoy." They expressed gratitude to their fans, promising to continue to grow and evolve, stating, "As this is just Vol.1, we will bring even bigger songs and performances in the future. Wherever you are, if you need BOYNEXTDOOR's music, we will come to you. We hope our music becomes a part of your youth. Let's be together for 400 years!"

Next, BOYNEXTDOOR will head to Japan, with performances scheduled in Tokyo on January 30, Aichi on February 2, Osaka on February 8-9, Miyagi on February 15, Fukuoka on February 18-19, Kanagawa on February 22-24, and international shows in Singapore on March 15, Manila on March 22, Bangkok on March 29, Taipei on April 3, Hong Kong on April 6, and Jakarta on April 12. Their Japanese tour, consisting of 12 shows across six cities, has already sold out all tickets.
