Box Office Success of 'Harbin' Continues

'Harbin' (하얼빈), directed by Woo Min-ho and distributed by CJ ENM, is maintaining its strong box office performance. According to the integrated ticketing system on January 4, the film attracted 91,400 viewers on January 3, bringing its total audience count to 3.28 million. Set in 1909, 'Harbin' depicts a tense chase filled with suspicion between those heading to Harbin for a singular purpose and those pursuing them. The film premiered on Christmas Eve, December 24, and reached 1 million viewers within two days, 2 million in five days, and 3 million in just nine days. This rapid pace surpasses that of the blockbuster 'Seoul's Spring' (서울의 봄), which achieved 3 million in ten days. The film continued to draw crowds into the new year, comfortably surpassing the 3 million mark. The 'Harbin' team is also ramping up promotional efforts following a national mourning period, signaling a positive outlook for its continued success. In second place, 'Firefighter' (소방관) attracted 26,724 viewers the previous day, totaling 3,449,444 viewers, while 'Bogotá' (보고타), starring Song Joong-ki, secured third place with a cumulative audience of 240,604.
