BLACKPINK's Rosé Shares Insights on 'Apartment' Game and Its Popularity Among Foreign Friends

On December 11, BLACKPINK's Rosé made a special appearance on the tvN variety show 'You Quiz on the Block' to celebrate the release of her first solo album. During the episode, host Jo Se-ho humorously dressed as Bruno Mars, eliciting laughter from the audience, while Yoo Jae-suk added to the fun by drawing a mustache on his face. Jo Se-ho shared a light-hearted moment, recalling how he once greeted Bruno Mars at the Waterbomb Festival, explaining his homage to the artist's presence on the show.
As the hosts welcomed Rosé, she couldn't help but laugh at Jo Se-ho's detailed costume, complimenting his pearl necklace and shoes. Rosé expressed her excitement about her recent hit song, describing it as 'interesting.' Yoo Jae-suk highlighted that Rosé is not just a vocalist but also involved in songwriting and composing.
Rosé then shared the inspiration behind her song 'Apartment,' revealing that she had taught her foreign staff friends about a Korean drinking game. After the initial lesson, they became quite fond of it, even mispronouncing it as 'Apate' instead of 'Apartment.' This enthusiasm sparked her idea to write a song, leading to the creation of 'Apartment.'
