Jisoo of BLACKPINK has officially announced her solo comeback, set for February 14. On January 13, she surprised fans by revealing a teaser for her new solo album through her agency BLISSOO's official social media channels. The teaser features a moving lie detector, followed by the date 'FEBRUARY 14' alongside Jisoo's name, creating a strong impact. This upcoming release marks her second solo album, two years after her debut single '꽃 (FLOWER)' in March 2023, and is the first album she will release under her own agency, BLISSOO. '꽃 (FLOWER)' achieved remarkable success, ranking 6th on Spotify, 38th on the UK Official Singles Chart, and reaching number one on iTunes in 57 countries, as well as topping the global YouTube song and music video charts. As a member of the globally renowned group BLACKPINK and a versatile artist, Jisoo is expected to showcase her unique identity through high-quality music and performances in this new album. Additionally, she will star as the character Yeong-joo in the Coupang Play original drama 'Newtopia,' which premieres on February 7.
