BLACKPINK Lights Up Seoul with Pink Campaign for World Tour
The popular girl group BLACKPINK has transformed various locations in Seoul into a vibrant pink spectacle. YG Entertainment is celebrating BLACKPINK's comeback and their world tour with a campaign called 'PINK AREA: Takeover Lighting' at major landmarks in the city. This large-scale promotion coincides with the start of the 'BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR 'DEADLINE'' which kicked off on July 5 at the Goyang Sports Complex. From July 4 to 6, iconic sites such as Namsan Seoul Tower, Sevit Island, and Banpo Bridge were illuminated in pink lights.
Notably, Sevit Island and Banpo Bridge featured a rainbow fountain show alongside the pink lighting, delighting many spectators. The signature sound of BLACKPINK, 'BLACKPINK in Your Area,' resonated through the space, marking the group's much-anticipated return.
Additionally, since July 11, the music video for their new digital single '뛰어 (JUMP)' has been showcased at locations including Shinsegae Department Store in Myeongdong, Megabox COEX, and the Seoul Express Bus Terminal, receiving positive feedback from fans.
This event has sparked enthusiastic responses from fans, with numerous photos shared on social media, highlighting BLACKPINK's global influence.
On July 11, BLACKPINK released their new digital single '뛰어 (JUMP),' which has created a buzz worldwide. The 'DEADLINE' tour will see them perform in 16 cities across 31 shows, including Los Angeles, Chicago, Toronto, New York, Paris, Milan, Barcelona, London, Kaohsiung, Bangkok, Jakarta, Bulacan, Singapore, Tokyo, and Hong Kong.
