Billlie Releases First Japanese OST for 'The Savior'

The K-pop group Billlie (시윤, 션, 츠키, 문수아, 하람, 수현, 하루나) is set to unveil their first-ever Japanese version of an original soundtrack (OST) today, May 18, at noon on various music streaming platforms. The song, titled 'The Savior,' is part of the webtoon '소년법칙' and marks a significant moment as it announces the beginning of an epic narrative, rescuing the protagonist from the whirlpool of fate. This track features a powerful blend of heavy guitar riffs and intense drumming, showcasing the alternative metal rock genre while deeply reflecting the webtoon's universe.
Previously, 'The Savior' garnered considerable attention when Billlie performed it as a complete group in February. Following the enthusiastic response, the announcement of the Japanese version has piqued the interest of both domestic and Japanese fans, promising a unique charm distinct from the Korean version. Notably, member Tsuki participated in the songwriting, demonstrating the group's evolving musical capabilities.
'소년법칙' is a spin-off of the popular K-webtoon '외모지상주의,' sharing the same universe created by Park Tae-jun, and is set to begin serialization in Japan on June 1. Billlie's involvement in the Japanese OST is expected to enhance the immersive experience and create a strong synergy with the local audience.
Billlie recently completed their debut world tour, which included a finale performance in Seoul and covered 31 cities across Europe, North America, Asia, and Oceania, solidifying their status as a rising global sensation. Throughout the tour, the seven members showcased their exceptional vocal and performance skills, receiving enthusiastic responses from fans.
The Japanese version of 'The Savior' from the webtoon '소년법칙' will be available on various music platforms today at noon.
