BIGBANG's Daesung Shares His Deep Affection for TWICE

On December 27, a new video titled "Daesung's Strategy! Finding Commonalities with TWICE" was uploaded to the '집대성' channel, featuring the popular girl group TWICE as guests. During the episode, Daesung expressed his admiration for TWICE, stating, "TWICE was my military life, and my military life was TWICE. Therefore, I believe this meeting is incredibly meaningful."

When asked about his favorite member of TWICE, Daesung humorously replied, "I want to say this: there is no ultimate bias in TWICE. There are only favorites from different times." This statement confirmed his status as a true fan.

He also mentioned, "Since I received so much from them during my military service, even though the segment is called 'Dutch Pay,' I am more than willing to cover the costs from the start," adding a light-hearted touch with the phrase "결초보은=강대성" (which translates to 'repaying kindness = Kang Daesung').

As TWICE made their appearance, Daesung displayed a unique sense of familiarity, reminiscing, "I first saw all the girl group music videos while I was in the military. I had never seen them before. The first one I watched was 'Like Ooh-Ahh,' and I was completely blown away."

He continued, "How can there be such happy content in the world? For that moment of watching the music video, I felt like I could endure ten years of military service. Of course, it's much happier to watch from the outside," he joked.

Daesung added, "When I just said I could endure ten years, my manager chuckled. He had never paid attention to this before, but when I said 'ten years,' he was surprised. As a man, he understands how significant that statement is," which elicited more laughter.
