BIGBANG's Comeback: G-Dragon and Daesung Gear Up for Solo Activities

The iconic K-pop group BIGBANG is back in action as members G-Dragon and Daesung ramp up their solo careers, sparking excitement for a potential full group comeback.
On March 19, G-Dragon unveiled the poster for his solo world tour 'Webermanche', set to kick off at Tokyo Dome on May 10 and 11. The tour will span eight cities across seven Asian countries, including Osaka, Bulacan in the Philippines, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia, and Jakarta in Indonesia. This marks G-Dragon's return to the Tokyo Dome and Osaka's Kyocera Dome after an eight-year hiatus since his '2017 World Tour Act III: M.O.T.T.E'. The tour promises to deliver an unprecedented concert experience at stadium venues like the Philippine Arena.
Meanwhile, Daesung is making his solo comeback after a year, with his mini-album 'This Wave' set to release on April 8. He will also hold his first domestic concert as a solo artist, 'Daesung 2025 Asia Tour This Wave in Seoul', at Olympic Hall in Olympic Park, Seoul, on April 26 and 27. Known for his versatility, Daesung has successfully tackled various genres, from ballads to trot, and fans are eager to see what he has in store following his emotional single 'Falling Slowly' released last year.
Additionally, Daesung has showcased his entertainment skills on his YouTube channel 'Jip Daesung', which has gained over 1.13 million subscribers in less than a year, highlighting his popularity as a multi-talented entertainer.
The camaraderie among BIGBANG members remains strong, as they recently thrilled fans with a full group performance at the '2024 MAMA' awards and at Taeyang's solo concert. G-Dragon also featured in his own variety show 'Good Day', further fueling hopes for a complete group comeback in the near future.
