Big Hit Music Addresses Rumors of BTS's Jin and Baek Jong-won's Traditional Liquor Business

Big Hit Music has issued a cautious statement regarding the rumored liquor business involving BTS (방탄소년단) member Jin and renowned chef Baek Jong-won. On December 11, a representative from Big Hit Music stated to OSEN, "We cannot confirm any details regarding the investment in the liquor business by Jin and Baek Jong-won, and we ask for your understanding."

Earlier that day, news surfaced that Jin and Baek Jong-won had invested in an agricultural corporation that plans to launch distilled spirits. Discussions are also underway to create beverages using various fruits, including apples, watermelons, and plums, sourced from Baek Jong-won's hometown in Yesan, Chungnam.

The connection between Jin and Baek Jong-won has been known to fans for several years. Baek Jong-won has mentioned Jin in various entertainment programs, while Jin has shared moments with Baek Jong-won and traditional liquor master Park Nok-dam on BTS's own content series, Bangtan TV (방탄TV). Additionally, Jin has reportedly gifted homemade liquor to his fellow BTS member J-Hope (제이홉), chef Lee Yeon-bok, and actor Park Seo-ham.
