Big Bang's Daesung Teases 20th Anniversary Plans

Daesung of the legendary K-pop group Big Bang has hinted at exciting plans for their upcoming 20th anniversary. He will appear as a special guest on the 13th episode of the U+ original variety show, 내편하자4 (Let's Be Friends 4), which airs on March 31 at midnight.
In preparation for this historic collaboration between his channel, 집대성 (Daesung's Channel), and 내편하자4, Daesung visited the studio. The four MCs and production team, having received tips from the renowned choreographer, Dae Gidooni, who has worked with Big Bang, G-Dragon, and Taeyang, chose Daesung's hit song '날 봐, 귀순' (Look at Me, Gwisoon) as a welcome song.
Upon his entrance, Daesung electrified the atmosphere with an impromptu dance and lyrics, showcasing his high energy. He humorously remarked, "I danced to break the ice, but ended up becoming ice powder," expressing pride in his performance.
In a comedic twist, fellow guest Pungja donned a pink wig and outfit to impersonate G-Dragon, earning laughs from the audience. Although Pungja referred to herself as "Pungdragon," the MCs jokingly called her "Okja," referencing a character from Bong Joon-ho's film, which sent everyone into fits of laughter.
When MC Park Na-rae playfully warned that they might receive a cease-and-desist letter, Pungja quipped, "I did it knowing I might get sued," adding that her wig was too small, which led to more laughter.
Additionally, Han Hye-jin shared her gratitude towards Big Bang, recalling how their music helped her through tough times while she was a rookie model in New York. As the MCs reminisced about their memories with Big Bang, Um Ji-yoon asked Daesung if there were any special plans for the group's 20th anniversary. Daesung responded with a meaningful smile, stating, "G-Dragon, Taeyang, and I are placing great significance on the 20th anniversary. We will not let it pass by quietly," heightening anticipation for the upcoming broadcast.
