Beyoncé Wins Grammy for Album of the Year for the First Time

Beyoncé has finally achieved a significant milestone in her career by winning the prestigious Album of the Year award at the Grammy Awards for the first time. On February 2, 2025, during the 67th Grammy Awards held at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, she was honored for her album 'Cowboy Carter'. Despite having received a record-breaking 32 Grammy Awards prior to this, Beyoncé had never won the Album of the Year award until now. Her husband, musician Jay-Z, previously highlighted this oversight during the last Grammy ceremony when he received the Dr. Dre Global Impact Award, stating, 'She has the most Grammys, yet has never won Album of the Year. This doesn’t make sense.' In addition to her historic win, Beyoncé also took home awards for Best Country Album and Best Country Duo/Group Performance.
