The production video for the upcoming film 'The Black Sisters' (검은 수녀들), starring Song Hye-kyo (송혜교) and Jeon Yeo-been (전여빈), has been released on December 26, 2024. Directed by Kwon Hyuk-jae (권혁재) and produced by Film Company Jip, the film tells the story of individuals who embark on a forbidden ritual to save a boy possessed by a powerful evil spirit. This film serves as a sequel to 'The Priests' (검은 사제들), captivating audiences with its unique and realistic premise.

The newly unveiled production video highlights the actors' dedication to immersing themselves in their characters and the meticulous production process that brought the film to life. Oh Hyo-jin (오효진), the producer, shared that the story began with a thought-provoking question: "What if the 12 forms reappeared in Korea, but there were no exorcists like Choi Jun-ho (강동원) and Kim Beom-sin (김윤석)?" This sets the stage for a narrative that builds on the intrigue established in 'The Priests'.

Actor Lee Jin-wook (이진욱) noted that while there are many films about exorcisms, it is rare to see nuns taking the lead in such rituals, which adds to the film's unique angle.
