Beatboxer Wing Shares Military Connection with Park Bo-gum

On the March 19 episode of tvN's 'You Quiz on the Block', beatboxer Wing (김건호) revealed that he served in the military alongside actor Park Bo-gum. Wing, who has gained international fame for his beatboxing skills, shared that he performed beatboxing while in the military, stating, "I received a lot of vacation days for this."
He explained that he and Park Bo-gum served together in the Navy Public Relations Corps, with Wing as a sergeant and Park as a private. "We served together for about a week when I was a sergeant and he was a private. I wanted to stand out, so I showed him my beatboxing skills in the barracks," Wing recalled.
Wing mentioned that Park Bo-gum was impressed by his talent, saying, "He told me it was amazing and that he could see how much effort I put into it. He wished me well for the future." After their service, Wing hesitated to reach out to Park, thinking it might be inappropriate, but was pleasantly surprised when Park contacted him first.
Comedian Jo Se-ho suggested that Wing should appear on Park Bo-gum's upcoming show 'Seasons'. Wing then sent a video message to Park, expressing, "I will be humble and confident like you. I hope to meet you proudly soon." This brought laughter to the audience.
Additionally, Wing sent a video message to Faker (페이커), a well-known gamer who resembles him, encouraging him to continue succeeding and promising to reach a similar level in his career.
