BBGIRLS Returns with Remake of 'Hopeful Wishes' After 35 Years

BBGIRLS (브브걸), consisting of members Minyoung, Eunji, and Yuna, is set to release a new version of '희망사항' (Hopeful Wishes) today, May 29, at 6 PM KST across various online music platforms. This remake of the iconic 1989 song by Byun Jin-sub showcases BBGIRLS' unique emotional interpretation, with the group actively participating in the lyrics' adaptation to express a playful yet romantic sentiment. Notably, Byun Jin-sub himself makes a surprise appearance as a featured artist, enhancing the track's quality.

Through '희망사항', BBGIRLS aims to evoke nostalgic feelings for those familiar with the original while offering a fresh retro vibe to the MZ generation. The group is determined to create a cross-generational connection, leveraging the synergy with Byun Jin-sub.

Ahead of their first official fan meeting titled 'Missing File 0803', BBGIRLS is generating buzz by gifting their fandom, known as Pui, with this surprise remake. Fans are eagerly anticipating what BBGIRLS' rendition of '희망사항' will sound like.
