Baseball Star Lee Jung-hoo Surprises Fans on MBC's 'Point of Omniscient Interference'

In a surprising appearance, baseball player Lee Jung-hoo (이정후) of the San Francisco Giants made a special guest appearance on MBC's entertainment show 'Point of Omniscient Interference' (전지적 참견 시점) during the 15th anniversary concert of the music group Urban Zakapa (어반자카파) aired on January 4, 2025. As the concert was about to begin, the audience was captivated by the presence of familiar faces, including Lee Jung-hoo, which left hosts like Jeon Hyun-moo (전현무) visibly astonished.

Park Yong-in (박용인) from Urban Zakapa shared his connection with Lee, stating, "I’m friends with players from Kiwoom Heroes, including Kim Ha-seong (김하성) and Lee Jung-hoo. It’s great to see him here, especially since he’s currently active in the U.S." Jeon Hyun-moo inquired about Lee's current condition, as he had suffered an injury after an impressive debut season in Major League Baseball last year. Park reassured viewers, saying, "He’s recovering well and is currently rehabilitating in Korea. This is actually his first concert since returning.
