BamBam Acknowledges His 'Thai Prince' Status on 'Do You Know Home Cooking'

On July 16, 2025, the MBN and MBC Every1 variety show 'Do You Know Home Cooking' featured BamBam (뱀뱀) acknowledging his status as a 'Thai prince'. During the episode, hosts Lee Jang-woo (이장우) and BamBam prepared a Korean snack feast for a local mother and daughter in Thailand. They met the locals at a market and charmed them with traditional Korean home-cooked dishes.

While traveling on a water bus, Lee Jang-woo and BamBam were approached for photos. They expressed their desire to treat the mother and daughter to a Korean meal, which led to an invitation to their home.

Before heading to the locals' house, the duo stopped by the market where BamBam introduced various Thai snacks to Lee Jang-woo, who was impressed and eager to try everything. Although BamBam was a bit overwhelmed by Lee Jang-woo's enthusiasm for sampling food from every stall, Lee Jang-woo encouraged him, saying, 'You have to eat a lot!'

As they left the market, Lee Jang-woo was once again amazed by BamBam's popularity, noting the crowd of fans gathered outside, eager to take pictures with him. BamBam, surprised by the attention, remarked, 'There are so many people!'

Lee Jang-woo praised BamBam, saying, 'He’s so popular that I feel like I’m with a Thai prince. I’m so glad to know BamBam. Thank you for coming on this trip with me.' In response, BamBam expressed his gratitude, saying, 'I haven’t felt this kind of atmosphere in a long time. It’s thanks to you, hyung.'

In an interview with the production team, BamBam reflected on his growth, stating, 'I’ve been watching him since I was very young. Now I’ve grown up a lot. They always call me a prince, but I’m not a prince anymore. I’m a king.'

At the local mother and daughter’s home, Lee Jang-woo and BamBam prepared a variety of Korean dishes, including a modified version of fish cake stir-fry, seaweed salad, kimbap, tuna rolls, and cold cucumber soup. The Thai mother and daughter, along with their friends, were impressed by the cooking skills of Lee Jang-woo and BamBam.
