Baekhyun Unveils Final Teaser for 'Essence of Reverie'

Baekhyun (백현), a member of the popular group EXO, has released the final teaser for his upcoming mini-album, 'Essence of Reverie (에센스 오브 레버리)'. On May 17, his agency INB100 shared a teaser for the title track 'Elevator (엘리베이터)' on their official social media channels.

The teaser begins with Baekhyun captivated by someone in an elevator, followed by scenes showcasing his focus during photoshoots and video recordings, reflecting his daily life as an artist. The video is enhanced with pop art-style graphics and dynamic scene transitions, creating a visually engaging experience reminiscent of a visual novel.

As the release date approaches, Baekhyun is ramping up promotional activities. Alongside the teaser, he has shared concept photos, films, and trailers. On May 16, he performed the pre-release track 'Chocolate (초콜릿)' for the first time on KBS 2TV's 'Music Bank (뮤직뱅크)', and on May 17, he briefly showcased 'Chocolate' and the album track 'Lemonade (레몬에이드)' on MBC's 'Show! Music Core (쇼! 음악중심)', heightening anticipation for the album.

Set to be released on May 19, Baekhyun's mini-album 'Essence of Reverie' explores the boundary between reality and ideals, symbolically expressing his essence as an artist and the future he envisions. Following his previous mini-album 'Hello, World (헬로, 월드)', this new release aims to redefine his musical identity by reflecting on both his past and future.
