Baekhyun (백현), a member of EXO and a solo artist, is generating excitement for his upcoming mini album, 'Essence of Reverie (에센스 오브 레버리)', by releasing a series of teaser content. His agency, INB100 (아이앤비백), unveiled a trailer for the album on their official social media on May 15.

The trailer features a suspenseful soundtrack and showcases multiple versions of Baekhyun existing in different parallel worlds. The visuals depict him in various scenarios, such as relaxing, working on music, and wandering through a forest, sparking curiosity about the album.

A particularly striking scene shows Baekhyun playing chess with his reflection in a mirror, symbolizing the message that 'the ultimate opponent is oneself.' This encapsulates the overarching theme of the album, which reflects Baekhyun's aspirations for the future.

'Essence of Reverie' marks Baekhyun's return with new music approximately eight months after his last release, 'Hello, World (헬로, 월드)'. While the previous album served as a fresh greeting to the world, this new project is expected to redefine his identity as an artist, exploring the boundary between reality and ideals.

Baekhyun has been actively involved in the production of all tracks on the album, adding personal significance to the project. The pre-release of the track 'Chocolate (초콜릿)' on May 15 has further heightened anticipation, hinting at Baekhyun's unique musical style.
