Baek Seong-hyun Becomes a College Student at 35: 'Dropped Out in 2007, Now Reenrolled'

On the November 25 episode of SBS's 'Same Bed, Different Dreams 2' (동상이몽2-너는 내 운명), actor Baek Seong-hyun revealed that he has returned to university at the age of 35.

During the show, his wife, Jo Da-bom, playfully questioned his choice of attire, commenting on his bright red jacket that resembled hiking gear, which prompted laughter from the audience. Baek Seong-hyun explained that the jacket was popular on a trending site, adding to the humor of the moment.

He shared that he had initially enrolled in college in 2007 but had to drop out due to his acting career. Now, he is back in school, stating, "I have just one semester left." This led to a light-hearted exchange with Kim Sook, who jokingly asked how many jobs he had.

Jo Da-bom mentioned that Baek Seong-hyun's outfit looked like a dragonfly, and she had styled him herself. When he appeared in the outfit she recommended, he resembled a trendy college student, reminiscent of an idol. Baek Seong-hyun humorously remarked, "Is this really better? I thought the red one was nicer," which elicited more laughter.

As he set out for class, Baek Seong-hyun diverted to a snack shop instead. He also met with some junior students, jokingly asking if he needed to organize a gathering after an outdoor class to bond with them, which created a cheerful atmosphere.
