While the number of lawyers does not directly influence the outcome of the trial, the significant legal fees and high-profile attorneys indicate that neither party is willing to back down in this legal battle.

NewJeans announced their independent activities last November, claiming that their contract with Ador was terminated due to breaches by the agency. In response, Ador filed a lawsuit against the members, seeking to maintain their status as a management agency and to prevent the signing of advertising contracts.

While the U.S. has seen significant investment from local entertainment companies, successful cases remain fewer compared to Japan. In China, K-pop's localization efforts have faced challenges post-Korean Wave restrictions. Jeong remarked that while there were attempts to reduce K-pop appearances at Japanese award shows, the stigma around the 'K-pop label' is diminishing. 

Critics like Cha Woo-jin highlight Japan's position as the second-largest music market globally, with an exceptionally loyal fanbase. Once a genre takes root, it tends to sustain its popularity for a long time, creating a favorable environment for continued success.

This film, which explores the power of music to connect people, has garnered attention as it features the late Kim Sae-ron in her final role as Yu-jin. Kim Sae-ron had built a solid filmography since her childhood but faced controversy in 2022 due to a drunk driving incident that halted her career. Following the incident, which caused a power outage in nearby businesses, she took time off to reflect. Attempts to return to acting, including a role in the play 'Dongchimi,' were met with a lukewarm response, leading to her eventual departure from the project.

"Customers trusted the company (SK Telecom) while using its services, only to become victims of this incident. The damage has already been immense, and the company failed to prevent it," he stated. 

Koh criticized SK Telecom's notification process regarding the data breach, calling it "delayed and inadequate," expressing significant regret over the situation. On May 2, the commission had ordered SK Telecom to inform all potentially affected customers by May 9. However, the company only communicated the breach to its customers on that date. 

Koh noted, "The fact that SK Telecom did not notify customers until then is a major issue, and the information provided was passive and in some cases violated the Personal Information Protection Act. We deemed the notification insufficient and sent an official letter to SK Telecom regarding this matter." 

Regarding claims that North Korea or China may be behind the hacking, he remarked, "It is often difficult to confirm the perpetrators behind hacking incidents. There are traces of information from the server being transferred to an IP address in Singapore, but identifying who controls that IP is challenging. International cooperation is necessary." 

As for whether the hacked personal data has been leaked on the dark web, Koh stated, "Nothing has been discovered yet, but monitoring remains difficult." The dark web is known for being a hub for various cybercrimes, accessible only through specific software. 

Koh also warned of potential secondary damages beyond just cloned phones, indicating that various forms of harm could arise. "We are continuously monitoring the situation," he added.
