Bad Villain's YouTube Account Hacked, Agency Outraged

In a troubling incident, the YouTube account of the girl group Bad Villain (배드빌런) has been hacked, following a similar attack on artist Taemin (태민) just days earlier. On December 18, Big Planet Made (빅플래닛메이드), the agency representing Bad Villain, issued a statement confirming the hacking that occurred around 8 AM. They are currently working to restore the channel and are in discussions with YouTube to resolve the issue.
The agency highlighted a serious concern: the hacker behind Bad Villain's account is believed to be the same individual responsible for the recent breach of Taemin's official YouTube channel on December 15. Big Planet Made has already filed a complaint with the Gangnam Police Station regarding Taemin's case and plans to report the Bad Villain incident shortly, promising strong legal action.
Expressing their outrage, the agency stated, "We cannot contain our anger at the recurrence of such malicious hacking, especially after the previous incident in September that affected multiple artists under our label, including Taemin, Lee Seung Gi (이승기), and BIBI (비비지). We will thoroughly investigate who is behind these attacks and their motives."
They also apologized for the inconvenience caused to fans, noting that they had implemented complex passwords, two-factor authentication, and other security measures to prevent such breaches. The agency reassured fans that they are committed to restoring the channel quickly and ensuring that no other artists suffer similar attacks in the future.
Previously, in September, several artists from Big Planet Made experienced a hacking incident where their official YouTube channels were renamed to 'Tesla' and subsequently deleted. The agency reported the issue to YouTube and managed to recover the videos.
With this latest hacking incident occurring just three months later, Big Planet Made has vowed to take decisive legal action against the perpetrators.
