BABYMONSTER Kicks Off First World Tour with Stunning Live Performance in Seoul

The girl group BABYMONSTER has made a spectacular debut on their first world tour, living up to their reputation as 'monster rookies' with an impressive live performance. On January 26, they held their inaugural concert, '2025 BABYMONSTER 1st WORLD TOUR 'HELLO MONSTERS' IN SEOUL,' at the KSPO DOME in Songpa-gu, Seoul, where they connected with fans.
This concert was remarkable in many ways. It is quite rare for a rookie girl group, having officially debuted less than a year ago, to hold a concert, especially a world tour that spans Asia and North America. Hosting their first concert at the KSPO DOME, known as the 'holy ground of K-pop,' made it even more significant.
Leading up to the event, anticipation from both domestic and international fans was palpable, and BABYMONSTER delivered a high-quality performance over two days, January 25 and 26, filling the venue with enthusiastic audiences.
YG Entertainment, renowned for its expertise in live performances, showcased its accumulated know-how during BABYMONSTER's first concert. They collaborated with top-tier session musicians to arrange the group's songs for a live band, creating a dynamic sound that enhanced the concert's atmosphere. The visually stunning stage design and diverse special effects amplified BABYMONSTER's intense energy.
Since their debut, BABYMONSTER has gained attention for their overwhelming live performance skills showcased on various music shows and live stages. For this concert, they opted to use handheld microphones throughout, demonstrating their impressive live abilities for a full two hours.
From the unique high notes of the vocal members to the powerful rapping led by Asa and Luka, their unwavering live performance amidst relentless choreography left the audience in awe. Additionally, the concert featured solo stages for each of the seven members, showcasing their individual styles, along with covers of 2NE1's iconic songs 'Clap Your Hands' and 'GO AWAY,' reinterpreted in BABYMONSTER's unique style.
The members displayed an impressive level of composure and stage presence, far beyond what one would expect from newcomers, while the audience responded with enthusiastic cheers and excitement.
With a clean focus on delivering a vibrant live performance, BABYMONSTER's concert has set high expectations for their future growth throughout the tour.
Following their successful debut concert in Seoul, BABYMONSTER is set to meet fans worldwide, with upcoming stops in North America (Newark, Los Angeles), Japan (Kanagawa, Aichi, Osaka, Fukuoka), and various Asian cities (Singapore, Hong Kong, Ho Chi Minh City, Bangkok, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Taipei).
