Baby V.O.X. Resolves Rumors of Discord with Heartwarming Reunion at KBS Gayo Daechukje

The iconic K-pop group Baby V.O.X. has put an end to ongoing rumors of discord among its members. Following their complete reunion stage at the '2024 KBS Gayo Daechukje,' the group shared behind-the-scenes photos that showcased their enduring friendship.

Held on December 20 at KINTEX in Ilsan, the '2024 KBS Gayo Daechukje Global Festival' featured a concept of 'Infinity,' highlighting the limitless connections between K-pop artists across different eras through various collaborative performances.

Among the highlights was Baby V.O.X., who reunited as a full group for the first time in 14 years. Since their debut in 1997, the group gained immense popularity, particularly after member Yoon Eun-hye joined during their third album in 1999, captivating fans with their unique girl crush appeal.

After disbanding in 2006, the members pursued individual paths but maintained their friendship for over two decades. However, this year, rumors of discord arose when the members appeared on various entertainment programs without Yoon Eun-hye.

In an episode of SBS's 'Shoe-less Dolsing For Men,' members Kan Mi-yeon, Lee Hee-jin, Shim Eun-jin, and Kim I-ji reminisced about their time as Baby V.O.X. without Yoon Eun-hye, leading to speculation about tensions within the group.

Earlier, in April, the members also appeared on E Channel and Channel S's 'Sister Who Plays' without Yoon Eun-hye. At that time, her representatives clarified to OSEN that she was unable to attend due to a prior commitment, emphasizing that there were no other reasons for her absence.

Despite the repeated absence of Yoon Eun-hye during group appearances, her representatives reiterated that there was no discord, stating, "It's not a conflict. The members regularly keep in touch and support each other. Yoon Eun-hye was abroad during the recording of 'Dolsing For Men,' and scheduling conflicts prevented her from joining."

In September, during an appearance on 'No Backing Down with Tak Jae-hoon,' Shim Eun-jin and Lee Hee-jin were asked about their relationships within the group, to which they confirmed that they were all close, despite Yoon Eun-hye's absence. Shim Eun-jin explained, "We went on 'Sister Who Plays' as four members, and the invitations were sent to each of our agencies separately."

As rumors continued to swirl, the group's performance at the Gayo Daechukje served as a powerful statement of their unity. After the performance, Yoon Eun-hye expressed her gratitude, saying, "To the wonderful people I shared this with!!! I may not have expressed it well due to shyness, but I am so thankful for all the hard work."

Shim Eun-jin also shared her thoughts, stating, "When the proposal for the 2024 KBS Gayo Daechukje came in, I thought we had plenty of time, but a month flew by so quickly. I felt the support we have received once again. Thank you! Let's all rest and enjoy some good food together. I’ll always love you guys!" Lee Hee-jin added, "I love Baby V.O.X."

After enduring rumors of discord for a long time, Baby V.O.X. has demonstrated their unchanging friendship through their complete reunion stage and shared moments at the KBS Gayo Daechukje. It seems that the rumors of discord have finally been laid to rest.
