Baby V.O.X Makes a Stunning Comeback After 14 Years

The beloved girl group Baby V.O.X, known for their vibrant presence in the late 1990s and early 2000s, has made a spectacular return to the stage. On December 20, they performed at the '2024 KBS Gayo Daechukje Global Festival' held at KINTEX in Ilsan, Gyeonggi Province, marking their first full group performance in 14 years.
The five members—Shim Eun-jin, Lee Hee-jin, Kim I-ji, Yoon Eun-hye, and Gam Mi-yeon—delighted fans by performing their hit songs 'Get Up' and 'U-Oh!' The group also showcased their iconic 'girl crush' appeal by collaborating with the rising girl group Kiss of Life for a powerful rendition of 'Killer,' a track that highlights Baby V.O.X's signature charm.
This reunion comes after years of speculation regarding tensions among the members, particularly due to Yoon Eun-hye's absence from previous gatherings. However, their recent performance dispelled these rumors, showcasing their strong bond. Yoon Eun-hye expressed her affection for the group by sharing photos from the festival on her social media, captioning it, "Thankful for all the moments, Baby V.O.X."
During the festival, the members shared their emotional reflections, stating, "We practiced almost all night for two weeks. We are grateful for this opportunity, which allowed us to share such joyful moments together."
Debuting in 1997 with their first album 'EQUALIZEHER,' Baby V.O.X gained immense popularity with hits like 'Headache Day,' 'Desire,' 'Betrayal,' 'Please,' 'Sadness,' 'Ya Ya Ya,' 'U-Oh!,' 'Doll,' 'Changer,' 'Game Over,' 'Get Up,' 'Go,' 'Killer,' 'Missing You,' and 'Why.' After parting ways with their agency DR Music in 2006, the members pursued individual careers in music and acting.
