Ayumi Admits Her Cute Image is 'Business Aegyo' on Solo라서

On the March 11 episode of SBS Plus and E Channel's variety show Solo라서, Ayumi made a surprise appearance and opened up about her charming persona. Reflecting on her childhood, she shared, "My mom was a working parent who always dressed elegantly. During school events, she would come all dolled up, wearing perfume and short pants, jingling with a lot of keychains. It was quite embarrassing for me as a kid, feeling like she was showing off. I even asked her not to come, but now I feel sorry for that."

Ayumi also mentioned that her family rarely expressed love verbally, but she makes an effort to tell her daughter that she loves her often. When host Shin Dong-yeop joked about her being cute only when making money, Ayumi coolly responded, "That's business aegyo." She further discussed her daughter, saying, "When I call my son 'daughter,' it means she's pretty. I recently had an article published about my son. I wonder what the reporter's name was."
