Autopsy Results of Late Singer Wheesung Reveal No Criminal Evidence

The autopsy results for the late singer Wheesung (휘성) have been released, indicating that no evidence of criminal activity has been found. A representative from the National Police Agency stated during a press conference on March 31 at the police headquarters in Seodaemun-gu, Seoul, that they have received the autopsy results from the National Forensic Service. As of now, there are no confirmed signs of foul play.
While the police have received detailed findings from the autopsy, they have chosen not to disclose specific information to protect the dignity of the deceased and to prevent further distress to the family.
Wheesung was discovered in a state of cardiac arrest at his home in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, on March 10, at approximately 6:29 PM. He was 43 years old. Authorities found no signs of forced entry or indications of homicide, leading them to request an autopsy from the National Forensic Service.
The Gwangjin Police Station previously reported that they received an initial verbal assessment from the National Forensic Service indicating an 'unknown cause of death.'
On March 14, a memorial was set up for Wheesung, where many colleagues came to pay their respects. Following the memorial, his family decided to donate all condolence money in his name.
