ATEEZ Nominated for 2024 Billboard Music Awards, Aiming for Victory

K-pop group ATEEZ has received a nomination for the '2024 Billboard Music Awards'. According to the announcement made on November 25 (local time), ATEEZ's second studio album, 'THE WORLD EP.FIN : WILL', is nominated in the 'Top K-Pop Album' category.

The Billboard Music Awards is a prestigious event that celebrates global popularity, selecting nominees based on achievements on the Billboard charts over the past year.

ATEEZ made headlines last December with the release of their second studio album, 'THE WORLD EP.FIN : WILL', which marked a historic milestone for the group as they topped the main Billboard chart, 'Billboard 200'. They also dominated the 'Top Current Album Sales', 'Top Album Sales', and 'World Albums' charts, achieving the number one position in four different Billboard categories.

Notably, ATEEZ previously reached third place on the 'Billboard 200' with their mini album 'THE WORLD EP.1 : MOVEMENT', followed by a second-place finish with 'THE WORLD EP.2 : OUTLAW', before finally securing the top spot with their second studio album, showcasing their impressive growth.

In addition to their Billboard success, ATEEZ's second studio album also achieved significant rankings globally, reaching second place on the UK's Official Albums Chart and eleventh on Germany's Offizielle Deutsche Charts. The album set a new record for the group with approximately 1.7 million copies sold in its first week.

Recently, ATEEZ celebrated another achievement by securing their second number one on the 'Billboard 200' with their mini album 'GOLDEN HOUR : Part.2', making them the first group to have two albums reach the top spot within a year.

ATEEZ is set to perform at the '16th Melon Music Awards (MMA2024)' on November 30 at the Incheon Inspire Arena.
