ATEEZ Members Renew Contracts with KQ Entertainment, Surpassing the 'Seven-Year Curse'

All members of ATEEZ have successfully renewed their contracts with KQ Entertainment, effectively overcoming the so-called 'seven-year curse.' On July 10, KQ Entertainment announced, "After in-depth discussions with the members, we have completed a seven-year contract renewal with all eight members: Hongjoong, Seonghwa, Yunho, Yeosang, San, Mingi, Wooyoung, and Jongho. We are delighted to continue our relationship based on the trust built over the past seven years." The agency expressed its commitment to providing full support for the members to showcase their limitless potential on even larger stages in the future.

Previously, during a press conference celebrating the release of their mini-album 'GOLDEN HOUR: Part.3,' ATEEZ hinted at the possibility of contract renewals. Leader Hongjoong mentioned, "We have been contemplating how to present ATEEZ for a long time. We will share good news soon," signaling optimism about their future. With the announcement of the full group’s contract renewal, excitement is building for ATEEZ's upcoming 'top-class' performances on the global stage.

ATEEZ debuted in October 2018 with their mini-album 'TREASURE EP.1: All To Zero.' Since then, they have garnered immense love from global fans, being recognized as 'top performers' and 'kings of performance' for their unique music and powerful choreography.

Notably, ATEEZ made their first entry into the Billboard 200 chart with their mini-album 'ZERO: FEVER Part.3' in 2021, and achieved the remarkable feat of reaching number one on the same chart with their second full album 'THE WORLD EP FIN: WILL' in 2023. They also secured their second number one on the Billboard 200 with the release of their mini-album 'GOLDEN HOUR: Part.2' last November.

This June, their title track 'Lemon Drop' from the mini-album 'GOLDEN HOUR: Part.3' made a historic entry at number 69 on the Billboard Hot 100, marking the first time the group has appeared on this chart. Additionally, they achieved a remarkable second place on the Billboard 200, showcasing their powerful presence on the main charts.

Furthermore, ATEEZ made headlines last year as the first K-pop boy group to perform at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, captivating audiences with their flawless live performances and stunning visuals, solidifying their status as a 'global sensation.'

With the exciting news of all members renewing their contracts, ATEEZ is set to release their mini-album 'GOLDEN HOUR: Part.3 'In Your Fantasy Edition'' on July 11 at 1 PM. They recently kicked off their 'ATEEZ 2025 WORLD TOUR 'IN YOUR FANTASY'' at the Inspire Arena in Incheon on July 5 and 6, and will be touring 12 cities across North America, including Atlanta, New York, Baltimore, Nashville, Orlando, Chicago, Tacoma, San Jose, Los Angeles, Glendale, Arlington, and Mexico City, before heading to Japan for performances in Saitama, Nagoya, and Kobe.
