Astronomer CEO Suspended Following Coldplay Concert Scandal
The CEO of Astronomer, Andy Byron, has been suspended from his position following revelations of an affair during a Coldplay concert. According to reports from Page Six on July 18, an official investigation was launched into the relationship between Byron and Human Resources Director Christine Cabot after they were seen displaying affectionate behavior at the concert. The incident occurred on July 16 at Gillette Stadium in Boston, Massachusetts, where the two were caught on camera sharing a back hug, leading to the scandal. Following the event, Astronomer confirmed that Byron has stepped down from his role. The company stated that co-founder and Chief Product Officer Pete DiJoy is currently serving as CEO in Byron's absence and promised to provide more information at an appropriate time. During the concert, when their intimate moment was broadcast on the venue's large screen, Byron and Cabot reportedly reacted with surprise, attempting to hide their faces before leaving the area. Coldplay's lead singer Chris Martin humorously commented on the situation, suggesting they might be either cheating or just very shy, but the atmosphere indicated a more serious affair.
