Anticipation Builds for tvN's Historical Drama 'Wonkyung'

The highly anticipated historical drama 'Wonkyung' (원경), a collaboration between tvN and TVING, is set to premiere soon. Directed by Kim Sang-ho (김상호) and written by Lee Young-mi (이영미), the series promises to explore the complex relationship between King Taejong Lee Bang-won (이방원) and his wife Queen Wonkyung (원경왕후). In a recent online press conference held on January 6, 2025, the cast, including Cha Joo-young (차주영) and Lee Hyun-wook (이현욱), shared their enthusiasm and insights about the project.

'Wonkyung' aims to delve into the personal dynamics of the royal couple, moving beyond their political roles to highlight their love and conflicts as husband and wife.
