AKMU Announces Major Decision to Live Together for Teamwork

The sibling duo AKMU (악뮤) has made a significant announcement regarding their commitment to strengthening their teamwork by deciding to live together. On November 28, Lee Chan-hyuk and Lee Su-hyun shared this news during a Weverse Live session with fans. Su-hyun opened the conversation by stating, "This is something we decided among ourselves. I'm ready to talk about it."

Chan-hyuk then revealed, "We have something incredibly important to share. After more than ten years since our debut and nearly 27 years of teamwork, we will be living together for the first time."

As they monitored fan reactions in the chat, Su-hyun noted, "Some fans are jokingly asking if I was scammed on my lease. They’re suggesting we should just get married instead!" Chan-hyuk expressed his surprise, asking, "What kind of image do I have in the eyes of our fans?"

He further explained, "I felt that as we grow older, we shouldn't let this opportunity pass us by. This is a form of training. We plan to spend at least 2 to 4 years together to solidify our teamwork one last time."

Su-hyun added, "My brother expressed it a bit awkwardly. It’s like asking, 'Do you want to share a space?' But when you think about it, living together in a share house means we are living together, right?"

She continued, "Living alone is comfortable, but I also need care sometimes, so I thought the idea wasn’t bad. That’s why we decided to live together."

Chan-hyuk reassured fans, saying, "It’s not about feeling lonely. I mostly just sleep at home. I plan to set up a workspace in the house. It will feel like a training camp!" Su-hyun chimed in, emphasizing, "It’s literally a training camp!"
