AHOF Celebrates Debut with First Mini Album 'Who We Are'

The K-pop group AHOF has shared their excitement about their debut. On July 1, they held a showcase for their first mini album 'Who We Are' at YES24 Live Hall in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, expressing their joy that the dreams of all nine members have come true.

Formed through SBS's 'Universe League', AHOF emerged victorious from a competitive survival show, showcasing their impressive skills, visuals, and charisma even before their debut. The group's name, AHOF, stands for 'All time Hall Of Famer' and symbolizes the unfinished number '9', reflecting their ambition to become global stars and their potential for growth.

Member Daisuke stated, "I am thrilled that our dreams have become a reality. We want to share our music with the fans who helped us achieve this. We will work hard until we reach the 'K-pop Hall of Fame.'"

Their debut album 'Who We Are' captures the journey of the group as they seek to define their identity and sound before achieving perfection. Jungwoo described the album as a reflection of their dreams, hopes, and the anxieties they felt while preparing for their debut, infused with genuine feelings for their fans.

Notably, El Capitan, who served as the director on 'Universe League', produced all the tracks, enhancing the album's authenticity and quality.

The title track 'Rendezvous' features a dreamy sound created by guitar and drums, reflecting complex emotions. It portrays the intersection of a boy's imperfections and hopes, conveying unspoken feelings and moments they wish to revisit.

Chawoon, who contributed to the lyrics, mentioned, "The delicate vocals of our members blend perfectly with the dreamy sound. We aimed to express the anxiety felt during the pursuit of our dreams."

The choreography highlights a key lyric, with Park Juwon explaining, "The dance captures the essence of the line asking for just one embrace."

AHOF's debut album 'Who We Are' will be available on various music streaming platforms starting at 6 PM on July 1.
